Who we hire
Right now, there are no open positions at Edge. However, we are always on the lookout for very talented people to become future Edgeites.
If you are experienced in any of these areas, please drop us a line, and we will consider you for an interview in Portland or Corvallis.
Business development: You understand how design for web and for print serves business needs and solves clients’ problems. You are interested in representing Edge in the community and expanding our client list.
Back-end programmer: You develop open-source solutions for complex web sites and applications, specializing in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL/MySQL, PHP 4&5, Perl, Apache 1&2, Subversion, and are generally comfortable with the Linux command line.
Front-end programmer: You specialize in standards-compliant, accessible, open-source, hand-coded XHTML/CSS websites.
Account manager: You’ve done project management, client-facing account work, and feel comfortable with a mix of project focus, strategic account work and relationship development.
Designer for web/multidisciplinary designer: You can design for web with usability, accessibility and good function/form balance. You create site designs that are simple and elegant, and understand the coding implications of what you draw. Helpful to be able to design for print, exhibit, other media as well.
